b. What is the probability that 40 of the 50 sows have been artificially inseminated? (5 pt) (Formulas; Statistical; BINOMDIST with input of number=40, trials=50, prob.=0.70, cumulative=FALSE)

c. What is the probability that more than 30 of the 50 sows have been artificially inseminated? (5 pt)  (Formulas; Statistical; BINOMDIST with input of number=30, trials=50, prob. = 0.70, cumulative=TRUE, subtract the answer from 1)

d. Draw a scatter plot that shows the binomial probability in this case. (5 pt) (Determine each probability, put the probabilities in a table, and insert the scatterplot)

2.  A Thoroughbred mare has had 9 foals during her lifetime. Assume that the probability of a colt is 0.5 and the probability of a filly is 0.5.

a. What is the probability that 6 or more of the foals are fillies? (5 pt) (Formulas; Statistical; BINOMDIST with input of number=5, trials=9, prob.=0.5, cumulative=TRUE and subtract from 1)

b. What is the probability that none of the foals are fillies? (5 pt) (Formulas; Statistical; BINOMDIST with input of number=0, trials=9, prob.=0.5, cumulative=FALSE)
