Individual Written Assignment (20% of overall module grade)

Based on the case study – ‘Amazon.com ’ from myTIMeS, answer the following questions.

QUESTION

Using illustrative case study, the students are required to critically evaluate the vision and mission statement, identify and analyse ethical challenges and cultural complexities faced by  the international corporation, and its impact on the organizational performance. Students are also required to include appropriate strategic approaches to solve the ethical and cultural issues. The following components must be critically discussed in your assignment. Please use at least TEN (10) scholarly articles to support your argument.

(a) Vision and mission analysis

(b) Identify and analyse the ethical challenges and cultural complexities

(c) Analyse the consequences of ethical challenges and cultural complexities on organizational performance

(d) Outline how you would attempt to resolve the ethical challenges and cultural complexities with appropriate strategic approaches

Assignment Format:

The assignment must be typewritten using:

a)   Time News Roman font sized 12 and 1.5 line spacing.

b)  Length: maximum of 1,500 words, not including reference list, tables, charts, illustrations. Marks will be deducted for excessive length.

c)   Minimum of 10 scholarly articles for reference.

d)  Please include the word count at the end of your assignment.
