(b) Main part: your solutions with detailed derivations.
(c) MATLAB results (plotting and discussion of results).
(d) Appendix: MATLAB code for producing the figures in the report. DO NOT send the code in a separate file. Please copy and paste it in your report.

Consider the two 8-point QAM signal constellations shown in Fig. 1. The min-imum distance between adjacent points is 1.

Plot the average probability of the detection error as a function of signal to noise ratio (SNR) from 0 dB to 10 dB for each constellation in Fig. 1 (Please attach the program code for producing the simulation figure).
