1. Introduction

1.1 Background 

Chinese herbal medicine plays an important role in the global medical field, especially in Asia. With the development of modern science and technology, the Chinese herbal medicine industry is facing the challenges and opportunities of transformation, and it is urgent to improve efficiency and optimize management through modern information technology means. At present, Chinese herbal medicine enterprises often have information island phenomenon in resource management, inventory control, sales process, etc., which leads to low management efficiency and insufficient supply chain transparency. Therefore, it is urgent and necessary to develop a Chinese herbal medicine management system.

1.2 Problem identification

At present, the main problems facing the management of Chinese herbal medicine include:

decentralized management: the information, procurement, inventory and sales management of medicinal materials are scattered in different systems, and lack of effective integration.
