Major Assignment: Guidelines
Task:
You are required to select ONE case from the provided list, conduct thorough research, and write a report addressing the following points:
1. Describe what has happened in the selected case (15%)
2. Identify the types of risks involved for this event (give your reasons) and link them to all relevant act/regulations/standards (20%)
3. Discuss the primary causes or factors that led to the incident (15%)
4. From your point of view, which specific risk poses the greatest concert for this incident? Provide a reasoned explanation for your choice. You can put yourself as a risk manager representing the company, its counterparty, or the regulatory body (25%)
5. Propose actionable management strategies or steps to manage the identified risk in step 4 (25%)
The project report should be no more than 1,500 words (excluding reference, appendices, and cover page). All the reference should be clearly documented. The due date is at 11:59, Sunday 27 July 2024.

Late submission: according to School policy late assignment submissions will incur in a penalty:
• a penalty of 5% per day or part thereof (including weekends) from the due date and time;
• an assessment will not be accepted after 5 days (120 hours) from the original deadline unless special consideration has been approved;
• students submitting late, must do so via the same Moodle link for assignment submission;
• date and time of submission will determine the submission time for the purposes of calculating the penalty.
