Activity 2: Group activity Ice breaking activity: Line up game Students should arrange themselves in a line according to how likely they are going to become a project manager. The student with the most interest in becoming a project manager would stand at the front of the line, while the one with the least interest would beat the end. Team forming: Although your first assignment is individual assessment, we encourage you to start thinking about team forming for your team assessments. Start collaborating with your potential team: Form groups of 4 or 3 students. You can use the shared spreadsheet from the previous activity to remember your peers’ names, skills, and interests! Your tutors can help you to join a team if required. |

Activity 3: Group activity Through discussion with your peers, work on the following activity: Research: ● Use the internet to find an example of a project that was completed successfully/unsuccessfully, whether it has met its objectives for time, cost, and scope. ● Ensure the project is well-documented and provides sufficient information about its execution and outcomes. Analysis: ● Identify and describe the main factors that contributed to the project's success/failure. ● Consider factors such as project management methodologies, team collaboration, stakeholder involvement, risk management, resource allocation, and use of technology. Documentation: ● Write a summary of your findings, including: ● A brief description of the project. ● The criteria for its success/failure (time, cost, scope). ● Any lessons learned or best practices that could be applied to future projects.
