Instructions:
You are required to complete the worksheet on designing and producing an assistive module system. This individual project involves applying the engineering design process to develop a hands-on, functional prototype using appropriate engineering tools and materials.
Please also take note of the following points:
l Submission Due Date: Please submit the completed worksheet via Blackboard within one week after the end of the first class.
l Format: Font size 12 and single line spacing
l Page Limit: No more than Five A4 pages including this page, figures, photos, tables, drawing, etc. (if any).

1. Define the Problem (20 %) Describe the Problem(s) with the current end-effector design, outlining the factors. Include a photo to visually illustrate the problem(s).

2. Conduct Research (20 %) Summarize the research conducted for this project. Discuss existing technologies or designs and describe different types of end-effectors.

3. Idea Generation (20%) Illustrate one conceptual idea for an end-effector using a drawing or model. Briefly explain how it works.

4. Concept screening (20%) Specify the material(s) intended for the concept and describe the prototyping and joining methods to be applied.

5. Project management (20%) "Outline the development schedule for the end-effector using a Gantt chart. Describe the strategies that will be implemented to ensure adherence to the timeline.
